It's 3:30 in the Morning!!! Why can't I sleep?

Camp is over! Why am I not sleeping? While I was planning for Girls Camp this last summer, I would have many sleepless nights. I don't know how many nights I would wake up at 3:00 with an idea that I would have to write down. I quess the Lord speaks best to me at this time. This morning, I have already put in a batch of wash, started my dishwasher, made 8 signs for the craft bazzar that we are planning, which I have posted a few, let me know what you think Jeanna, and now decided to update my Journal. (I don't like the word blog for some reason) If only I could get up at 3:00 every morning, Oh! The things I could accomplish!
Last week was filled with many things. Mostly running the kids to their various activities. Piano, Achievement days, TaVasi, pre school, Football practice, and Football games. The highlight of the week for me was all of that and a date with my husband. We had been looking forward to seeing this newly released movie, "Night in Rodanthe".. We are both Nicholas Sparks fans and had both read the book. It was a good movie, but what I really enjoyed was afterward, we stopped for a walk in the park and had an awesome time just talking. We haven't done that for awhile and it was just what I needed. I am really not a high maintenence wife!
Torrey and the boys went to the Vernal Temple on Saturday and did Baptisms for the Dead. They had a neat experience. They were a bit early and had a little time to spare, so the person in charge of their group stopped to tell them of the symbolism of the many things pertaining to Baptisms for the Dead. They did learn alot and I know they were grateful that they were there.

"I AM A V.I.P. IN MY FAMILY"

This week has been an exciting one. Monday I was able to travel to Evanston with Graci to watch my son, Riley, play Football. He always works hard and does a great job. That Q.B. was on the ground but was able to get the ball off just in the nick of time before Riley laid him right out. Tuesday, I was able to go to Graci's preschool because she was the V.I.P. of the week. It was so much fun. I stayed up till about 2:00a.m. to finish her cute little poster. It has some of her most favorites. Her family being #1. She loves to go fishing and knows that she has to wear her fishing hat. I can't say that it is lucky because Torrey can't seem to catch any with her around but she has to wear it none the less. Graci loves to ride bikes and play with Hannah's kittens. She is also a big Dora the explorer fan. Thank You Graci for taking me to school with you. Hattie broke out in hives all over body and she was itching like crazy. It was something that she had eaten I guess. After two days of that she is back to herself. Layton had gotten a soar in his nose, I know that sounds gross but, it started to migrate to his upper lip and had gotten an abcess under his lip and was pretty swollen. Friday I ran him to the E.R. because you just can't seem to get into any Doctors around here and they gave him an antibiotic and it looks much better today. Oh, the joys of being a mother. I hope this is not a sign of how our winter is going to be. Saturday, I traveled to Utah with one of my good friends, Jeanna Young. We are going to sell items at a craft bazzar in Rock Springs so we shopped all day and had a great time. Thanks Jeanna for the fun day! Now I have to get to work and start making all of the fun things that we bought. I am so tired tonight!

"Each Are Special In There Own Unique Way"

Riley & Layton
What awesome boys you have become. Such fun personalities you have. I love hanging out with my boys. They have taken after their father in the respect that they take such good care of there Mom. Both are very hard working, motivated, very responsible, and very respectful young men. Riley loves Football, Basketball, and playing the piano. He is a Star Scout struggling to recieve those last few Merit Badges to bring him to a Life Scout. Riley is one month away from becoming a licensed driver. WATCH OUT!!! Not really. I have been very impressed with his maturity behind the wheel. I know that I am going to miss driving him everywhere but I am excited for him.
Layton is my football player. He plays the Offensive line, defensive line, and is the kicker. He also enjoys basketball, and Baseball and loves to be with his friends. Layton has the cutest smile and the biggest dimples. Layton is a Board of Review shy of becoming a "Star" Scout. Both boys are very good students. I am very impressed with how they accomplish all that they do. I love you guys!

"Miss Hattie"

Hattie, where do I start. Hattie is an all around girl. She loves school and is incredibly responsible and organized. Basketball, Soccer, and now her new found joy, volleyball, all are considered to be her favorite. She is just starting piano and doing very well at practicing. Hattie is a very good friend and is a very special little girl. Not so litttle anymore but I don't know what I would do without my helper.

"Full of Life" Hannah

Hannah is a special Girl. She has not a care in the world, take things as they come kindof girl. She loves to sing, perform in her TaVasi programs, she loves to play soccer and she gets to try herself out at basketball which her Mom as Coach. She loves school and is a very good reader. Music is one of her favorites. She is an awesome addition to our family and adds so much laughter. You are Terrific Hannah and we love you.

Our Sweet Little Graci

Our Sweet Little Graci. Graci is the youngest of five children and is such a delight to have around. She truley has brought so much love and happiness into our home. We definately could not see our family without her. Graci loves to ride her bike, go fishing with her Dad & Grandpa, play anything & everything with her sisters, babies, soccer, and her new preschool teacher, Mrs. Kari. It has been very hard for me to send my little friend to school. She says, "Mom! Now don't cry when I leave, I will be back." I am watching the clock go by so I can pick her up from school and see how her day went. We love you Graci!

"If the Savior Stood Beside Me" Primary Program,
Today was such a great day. The primary program is always my favorite Sunday. I feel the spirit always so strong during all of my favorite Songs that are sung and watching all the children perform and do such incredible jobs. Hattie and Hannah said their parts amazingly well and did such a great job singing. I love Primary and miss being a part of it. My favorite song is "If the Savior Stood Beside Me" and I think of this song and wonder if I am doing all that I can or acting as I should if the Savior was actually beside me. The answer is one that only motivates me to do better and become a better person, the one the Savior has always known that I could become. We can learn so much from our children.

I have been on facebook tonight and becoming reaquainted with some of my high school friends that I have lost contact with and it has been so much fun to see what is going on in there lives. One of my best friends, Jana Fullmer, just sent me an email of her recent trip to China and Korea. She sent some amazing pictures of the Great Wall and her climb to the top. What a Climb but worth it all when you see the view I am sure!

Today is mine and Torrey's 17th Wedding Anniversary. Alot has happened in 17 years. We have gone through many great moments together and many trials together that have only brought us so close. He is definately the one that I want to spend all of my free moments with. I can't wait to see what the next 17 years will bring.
